Hey, it's November soon!

It's time to prepare for the winter. Well at least in the Northern Hemisphere.

Playing with my niece

Short blog break became long blog break for some reason.
However, I'm back now. Have just returned after a weekend at my sister's.
Have spent plenty of time with my niece, playing cards, drawing and had a lot of laughter.

Wasp's nest

I found this wasp's nest in my storage room the other day. It is sooo big! Bigger than my foot.
Look at the pattern. Imagine all the work and how long it must have taken them to build it. Very impressive!
Oh, it's a nest from last year so nobody lived there. There's no way I would've gone so close otherwise :)

Barefoot season is here!

I'm a summer person. No doubts about that! I hate being cold and chilly. A life without socks would be a perfect life. Imaging not having to do all that laundry... only because of socks.
Wonder what it would be like to paint with your feet? Chan Tung-mui shows you how to use - My left foot.
These ones must be the happiest feet!

Let me in!

My landlord asked me if I would like to move up to the flat above as soon as they had finished renovating it. I'm still waiting. The letterbox has been removed so there is a big gap in the door. I had a sneak peak when I came home today :)

The Kissing Tree and Me

Isn't it amazing what you can find in a forest. My mother and I was out looking for mushrooms when I found this tree. A kissing tree! Of course I had to kiss it back :x

Happiness - and not

Some happiness I found during a walk in town last weekend.
Wish I felt the same, but unfortunately I am little bit feverish today. Think I've got a cold coming up :(

Dagens fynd på loppis

Sorry, this post has to be in swedish as only swedes that grew up in the 70's would understand what it's all about...

Hepp!

Chasing cows

Can't believe I finally found time to be a little bit creative. Have been longing all summer. Ah well, this is a starter.

You probably do not know this, but I love cows! They are so peaceful and calm. A little bit dull I think, but very charming. If I could afford it I would buy
the whole collection of these.

Tutorial from Mark David.

I've been working very hard this summer. Have had no time for this... or that.
However, will give it another go. But not today.
Just popping in to say hi.

Happy Midsummers!

In the middle of one of the steepest streets, somebody had painted and placed a chair there to the ones who needs a rest. It says "Please sit down". Very thoughtful :)
Midsummers here now... Time for celebration. Still hoping for sunny weather, even though the sky is grey.

Students

My brothers twins passed the examination the other week and are now ready to move on in life. It will be interesting to follow them and see what's going to happen in their future.
It was such a beautiful day. It must have been +32C that day. So hot!

Time is going so fast...

I can't believe it! 15th already!!
Work, sleep, work, sleep... wonder when I'm going to have a full day without any duties next time.
Not complaining though, plenty of fun things are happening while working and all the work is for good reasons. But I can't believe how fast time goes sometimes. It's shocking!

Preparing for the café

"Ödbergska Gården - A farm in Örnsköldsvik, built in the mid-1840s by merchant Johan Ödberg. The oldest preserved farm from the early days of the town".
We are members in the association and helping out, running the summer café this year. At the moment I'm very busy making signs using driftwood and other bits and pieces that I've found around the house.

Swedish Wiking

Not that I'm a football fantast or so, but it never hurts with a nice hat in wonderful colours. I might have a look, if it goes well for Sweden that is ;)

Can't belive it! Why is it so hard to spell my name correct? And this is from a Swedish sender...
