Café starts tomorrow :)

Have been preparing forever it feels like, well at least for weeks. Tomorrow we open up the summercafé again.
Need to sleep now...

Celebrating Midsummers

1. Team 1 of 3 for the outdoor games.

In the middle of one of the steepest streets, somebody had painted and placed a chair there to the ones who needs a rest. It says "Please sit down". Very thoughtful :)

Midsummers here now... Time for celebration. Still hoping for sunny weather, even though the sky is grey.

Wine Fair

Went to a Wine & Delicacy Fair the other weekend. Ohh how nice... Think I've got some new naughty habits suddenly...

Students

My brothers twins passed the examination the other week and are now ready to move on in life. It will be interesting to follow them and see what's going to happen in their future.

It was such a beautiful day. It must have been +32C that day. So hot!

Time is going so fast...

I can't believe it! 15th already!!

Work, sleep, work, sleep... wonder when I'm going to have a full day without any duties next time.

Not complaining though, plenty of fun things are happening while working and all the work is for good reasons. But I can't believe how fast time goes sometimes. It's shocking!

Preparing for the café

We are members in the association and helping out, running the summer café this year. At the moment I'm very busy making signs using driftwood and other bits and pieces that I've found around the house.

I'm exhausted!
Have been outdoors working the whole weekend. It has been wonderful summer weather all weekend. Up early, in bed early. Gardening, carpeting, cleaning, preparing summerhouses for this years season.

Tonight, I could sleep like this easily...

Busy May - but nice

1. Went to an evening lecture with the Swedish adventurer Ola Skinnarmo. Very interesting.

2. Saw my mothers trolley and remembered Faces in Places.

3. Finally warm enough in the evenings. Tried my new bbq grill last evening.

...before it's too late. These flowers and plants will be overgrown before we know it and they will become too old to add to the blog for this time of the year :)

New curtains for my summerhouse

Always nice with something new and fresh. Have had my summerplace for 4 years now. It's getting better and better for every year.

Is it May already?

1. Found my income-tax return form and realized that I had to fill it in before the 5th of May.

2. It feels strange to live in somebody elses flat and not having my own furniture. I'm a bit lost.

3. I feel so much better now. The sinusitis has calmed down but my nose is still sore. Maybe I should've gone for softer tissues...

I've been a bit under the weather lately. Was starting to come right, but am at the moment fighting a cold. Have been working like crazy for a pretty long period and have far too many other things to sort out in my ordinary life before the summer comes. A bit stressed, yes.

No time for blogging, no time for updates. Sorry about that. Will be back soon.
